Federal Labor Member for Dunkley, Jodie Belyea MP, today announced a re-elected Albanese Labor Government would put $2.5 million towards the redevelopment of Len Phelps Pavilion.
Len Phelps Pavilion at Carrum Downs Recreation Reserve is home to football, netball, cricket and tennis clubs.
This election commitment will provide a modern sporting facility that includes:
An expansion to the existing Len Phelps Pavilion to accommodate netball and tennis alongside football (AFL) and cricket teams
A new and expansive function room for social events
A new kitchen and bar area
New and accessible public toilets
Two change rooms including toilets and showers
Inclusion of an umpire’s change room
Fit-for-purpose storage facilities for both tennis and netball.
Consistent with past practice, election commitments will be delivered in line with Commonwealth Grants Rules and Principles.
